This is also the time to really buckle down and make a serious go at this glass thing. For the past couple years this has been a part-time gig while the kiddos took the main focus. I would always look ahead to "once they are all in school, then I will spend more time" or "when they all are in school then I need to see if this can work full-time". Kinda scary-now I am actually at that point and get to invest all that time! It's also really exciting-what all can I do with all this time?!
I can finally get to work on all those things I have patterns for, that are just sitting around the house. I can try out new ideas with recycled stuff, and experiment with different methods of creating. I can actually make the amount of ornaments that I want to have on hand for the holidays.
Whew! With that list I guess I should stop writing and get working! I have a fall spider web waiting to be soldered, and a dragonfly I am dreaming up. Also have a show coming up in Sheldon on Labor day that I need to prepare for. (If you are around Sheldon that time-stop and say hi! :)
Here we go brand-new phase in life-let's see where this goes!
